VoTriX meets WITAF online: accessible communication for Vienna’s deaf community

VoTriX PC runs on your own server — the conversation never leaves the building
In short: in a video meeting we presented VoTriX to WITAF, one of Vienna’s leading organisations for deaf people. The response was warm, the product was understood right away, and WITAF were especially interested in data sovereignty and running on their own server. We have now set up a hands-on test together.

A warm, substantive conversation

WITAF knows the real needs of deaf people, so the exchange was concrete from the first minute. They were particularly drawn to the parts of VoTriX that matter to an institution: that conversations are never stored, that the whole system can run on their own server (VoTriX PC), that it can work offline, and that VoTriX Call makes a real phone call possible. We also built an Austrian German model and are glad to keep refining it with them.

A hands-on test together

We set up test access to VoTriX Share and VoTriX Teams so WITAF can try everything in their own everyday situations, and a VoTriX Call test is being prepared as well. Their feedback is exactly what will make VoTriX fit the community better — and we are delighted to be working with them.
